Vocational training in external institutions

Vocational training in non-company settings [BaE] enables young people and young adults to begin suitable vocational training and, if necessary, supports them until its completion. Practical training takes place in authorized partner companies. BWRW, as the training provider, acquires these companies, offers supplementary and remedial instruction as well as socio-educational support.

Target audience

The offer is aimed at socially disadvantaged and learning-impaired young people who wish to begin vocational training.

Goals

  • Commencement or continuation as well as successful completion of vocational training
  • Ideally, a switch to company-based training after the 1st or 2nd year of apprenticeship.

Content & Services

  • Search for a suitable partner company
  • Overall organizational responsibility and coordination of training content
  • Guidance and support in the learning environments of the workplace and vocational school
  • Support and remedial lessons in small groups to review vocational school material and address existing knowledge gaps.
  • Social work support
  • Advice and support for professional and personal problems
  • Training in social and methodological skills
  • Recreational educational programs

Duration & Course

Entry typically takes place at the beginning of the training year in summer. The program lasts one year, or until the end of the apprenticeship at the latest.

Financial support

Funding is provided by the employment agency and/or the basic income support provider.
