AQUA [Activation-Qualification-Support]

People with disabilities who want to gain a foothold in the workforce need individual, reliable and intensive support in their career orientation and integration into the labor market.

This is where our AQUA offer comes in.

The focus is on integration into the primary labor market through structured and intensive one-on-one coaching . The program is characterized by a high degree of individualization, flexibility, and practical relevance. Together, we develop realistic career prospects and support their implementation step by step.

Target audience

The offer is aimed at people who, due to [severe] disabilities, health limitations, mental illnesses/impairments and/or multiple barriers to employment, require special support in [re]integrating into the primary labor market.

Goals

Integration into the primary labor market through the development and implementation of individual, needs-based strategies.

Stabilizing employment through accompanying support.
Strengthening personal, social and professional skills for sustainable labor market integration.

Content & Services

Intensive one-on-one coaching (3 months)

The coaching is designed to be highly individualized and intensive.

  • Two individual coaching sessions per week, each lasting 3 hours.

  • Individual assessment and skills analysis

  • Developing realistic career prospects

  • Application and personality training

  • Support with active job searching

  • Preparing for job interviews

  • Imparting key skills

  • IT training and refresher courses in school skills (if needed)

  • Assisted contact with companies

  • Psychological counselling sessions available if needed

Close support enables continuous development, regular reflection, and binding implementation of the agreed steps.

Optional follow-up care (up to 6 months)

Follow-up care can be offered to ensure lasting stabilization.

  • Regular reflection sessions

  • Support with challenges in the employment relationship

  • Crisis intervention if needed

  • Further development of career prospects

  • Planning further qualification steps

Follow-up support serves to ensure the success of integration and supports long-term stabilization in the labor market.

In addition to close pedagogical support, participants also have the opportunity to use psychological counseling.

Duration & Course

The individual coaching lasts 3 months .

There are two individual coaching sessions per week, each lasting 3 hours .

Optional follow-up care can be arranged for up to 6 months afterwards.

Entry into the program is arranged in consultation with the responsible funding body. An individual start date is possible by agreement.

Financial support

Participation is via an activation and placement voucher (AVGS) .

Funding can be provided by the Federal Employment Agency or the responsible job center .
Those interested should contact their designated contact person at the employment agency or job center about the possibility of funding.
