AQUA [Activation-Qualification-Support]

People with disabilities who want to gain a foothold in their careers need specific support in their career orientation and help with integration into the labor market.

This is where our program comes in. At AQUA, integration into the primary labor market is our top priority. Our services offer a high degree of individuality, flexibility, and proximity to the company. Participants go through various phases of orientation, qualification, and testing, depending on their individual needs.

An interdisciplinary team [social workers, psychologists and lecturers] will accompany you throughout the program and provide you with advice.

Target group

The offer is aimed at people who, due to [severe] disabilities, health restrictions, mental illnesses/impairments and/or multiple barriers to employment, require special support in [re-]integration into the primary labour market.

Goals

Integration of participants into the primary labor market through the development and implementation of individual, needs-based strategies.

Content & Services

Module 1: Analysis, Planning, Training [3 months]:

• Personal advice on career orientation
• Application and personality training
• Teaching key qualifications
• IT training
• Refreshing school knowledge
• Support in job search
• Psychological support sessions if necessary

Module 2: Operational testing [6 weeks]:

• Work experience in various professional fields that correspond to your health situation

Module 3: Follow-up care [up to 6 months]

• Regular reflection days
• Support and help with problems
• Perspectives and activity planning

In addition to close educational support, participants also have the opportunity to receive psychological counseling.

Individual coaching module [up to 12 weeks]

• Personal individual consultations
• Application training
• Support in job search

Duration & Course

Module 1 begins every three months. Entry into the program is determined in consultation with your responsible funding agency.
