Assisted training [AsAflex]

Assisted Training [AsAflex] represents a flexible approach to vocational training support, complementing regular company-based vocational training with comprehensive preparatory and support services. Simultaneous consultation and support for companies in initiating and implementing the training is a central component of the concept.

Target audience

Eligible for funding are young people who would be unable to begin, continue, or successfully complete vocational training without such funding.

Goals

• Stabilization of the apprenticeship relationship and securing the completion of the apprenticeship

Content & Services

Services for participants:

• individual support
• Everyday support and developmental counselling
• Learning and exchange opportunities with other trainees,
• [Theoretical] support and remedial instruction
• Crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• special training courses [e.g. etiquette for trainees] and experiential learning programs
• close coordination with all those involved in the training
• Information about the regional labor market
• Support during the transition to employment

Services for businesses:

• Support in everyday business and training life
• Discussions to identify difficulties and areas for action at an early stage
• Support for company trainers
• Target group-oriented training methods | Instructor coaching
• Support with applying for funding and administrative tasks
• Coordination of the different learning locations

Duration & Course

The support covers the entire duration of the training.

Financial support

Funding is provided by the Federal Employment Agency and/or the provider of basic income support [Jobcenter].
